The highest quality ceramic and aluminium heat shield on the market for diverting radiant heat away from critical parts. The Reflect a shield has a 6.25mm (1/4") thick ceramic inner pad sandwiched between heavy duty foil and bound with a stainless steel mesh at the edges. As with any aluminium insulation product, it is not designed for direct contact with exhaust systems. The shield withstands 537.8°C (1000°F) continuous radiant heat and 400°F of direct contact. It is intended for wrapping around electrical boxes, air conditioning components, or used as a catalytic or muffler shield. Can be fastened using stainless steel ties.
